About Julu Jewelry

First off I want to say thank you so much for being interested in my jewelry. It really means a lot to me. I try to do a little more than just listing piece after piece for sale. I put thought into the names, and I have descriptions for each product. Maybe a little humor (or quirky/weirdness). It's not easy. I think the hardest part is coming up with a name. (Second would be tying bows)

I first started making jewelry back in 2005 after my first trip to Vietnam. I came across a booth full of Swarovksi crystals, and I fell in love. Being a fan of diy projects, I had to sit down and learn how to craft my own jewelry. So since then it had been on and off until 2009 when I decided it was time to share my creativity with others. (You can only make yourself so many earrings!) So what you see here is what my jewelry has evolved into over the years. I can see my style evolving, and I am proud of what it has become. It's very rewarding every time I finish a new piece, and I can share it with a complete stranger or new friends. Every piece has a little bit of me in it, and it's really humbling when someone wants a part of that.

What's in a name?
The first question you may have is, what does Julu mean? Good question. It doesn't mean anything. My plan was to choose a name that was original with no meaning. I wanted to make up a short word just like many famous brands do. So really, Julu will mean what I want it to mean, what you want it to mean. Only time will tell. Just don't call it juju...
